Requirements
10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
5+ years of leadership or management experience leading engineering teams.
Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing operations, process development, and product sustainment.
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, electronics, robotics, or unmanned systems manufacturing.
New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing transfer experience.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Operations organization, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering team and providing strategic and technical direction across manufacturing Engineering.
This role oversees product sustainment, continuous improvement initiatives, new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing process development, and automation integration to support current production requirements and future business growth.
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager serves as a key interface between Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Operations to ensure efficient, scalable, and high-quality manufacturing processes.
Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
Own manufacturing engineering activities supporting production, product sustainment, and operational excellence initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and cost reduction.
