Workday Finance Business Analyst

3-5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials configuration and support experience in a business analyst or functional analyst capacity

Experience conducting business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and writing functional design documents

Solid understanding of core finance and accounting concepts (GAAP, month-end close, AP/AR workflows, expense management) and how they translate to Workday configuration

Collaborative approach to problem-solving, with a track record of building trusted relationships with Finance business partners

Unity is seeking a Workday Finance Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Systems team, embedded as a key partner to the Finance organization.

In this role, you will own the day-to-day configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Workday Financials, serving as the primary point of escalation for Finance team requests while also driving the delivery of strategic system initiatives that support Unity's broader business priorities.

You are someone who builds deep trust with Finance stakeholders, communicates technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences, and takes pride in the reliability and quality of the systems you support.

Serve as the primary Workday Financials administrator and day-to-day support contact for the Finance team, triaging and resolving configuration issues, user requests, and system inquiries with a high degree of responsiveness and quality

Diagnose and resolve Workday Financials configuration issues across modules, including Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, and/or Banking & Settlement

Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional design specifications and Workday configuration solutions
