Retail Manager

One (1) to three (3) years of retail experience in a supervisory or management role.

Experience with Point of Sales Systems (Jonas or TEI preferred).

Basic knowledge of the golf/boutique/specialty retail industry as it relates to hospitality and private club retail environments.

Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service.

Ability to sell and create rapport with customers.

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Retail Manager to join the Golf Operations Department.

The primary objective of the Retail Manager is to provide exceptional customer service and communication with members, guests and team members.

This position, in collaboration with the Regional Director, is responsible for curating, sourcing and purchasing luxury and premium high-end merchandise across a variety of product categories including golf, OP/active, athleisure, logo apparel and custom products/accessories for men, women and children, gift, home, and more for both the Golf Shop, as well as Swag for marketing and events.

The Retail Manager also serves as a liaison between the Regional Director and on-site operation by developing a rapport with customers and monitoring sell through to better understand the retail needs of the property and collaborate on buys.
