Requirements
Actively enrolled in college/university as an undergraduate or graduate student
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
Demonstrated initiative through academics, work experience, or extracurricular involvement

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position is $28 per hour.

Responsibilities
UPKEEP OF EARNED MEDIA RESOURCES
Update and input into Midwest Communications’ Master Media List across key markets like Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, and more
Monitor for media coverage on daily basis, maintain media coverage tracker across programs throughout the internship
Support the Communications Specialist and Communications Manager with Coverage Database inputs/missing coverage
Share regular media insights and updates across region with Communications team
MEDIA MATERIALS & OUTREACH
About the Company

The Communications team at Red Bull leads storytelling through earned media, owned articles, and content creation to reach and engage new consumers, more often. Reporting to the Director, Midwest Communications, the Communications Intern will support project and event execution within the Midwest Media Network. As the Communications Intern, you will be responsible for positioning and delivering an effective communication message across all types of third-party and owned media channels.
To bring our brand image to life and make Red Bull relevant for our target audience, you will impact communications across multiple social, web, TV, radio, and print platforms. In close partnership with the broader Communications and Media Network teams, you will help activate Paid, Earned, Managed & Owned (PEMO) plans within Sports, Culture, and Brand projects, content initiatives, and beverage product innovations. The Communications Intern will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on earned media initiatives and will help connect communications plans across multiple channels.
