Security Operations Engineer

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a Security Engineering level role.

Technical Foundational Knowledge: A solid understanding of core security concepts and exposure to how tools like SOAR, SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms operate.

Scripting Skills: Foundational scripting skills in Python (or similar languages) with the ability to read, troubleshoot, and write basic scripts for API integrations.

Tool Exposure: Familiarity or academic/lab experience with a leading SOAR platform (such as Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR, Tines, or Splunk SOAR).

Additional Scripting: Exposure to programming and scripting languages like Go, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.

Security Frameworks: Basic familiarity with security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST.
