Responsibilities

OBGYN is a multiple location department and staff are rotated amongst all locations in New Jersey: Sewell, W.

The Patient Services Associate (PSA) II enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities associated with visits to the practice/department.

Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures, verifies insurance, referrals and patient demographic information.

The PSA II supports delivery of the Jefferson Experience by placing emphasis on the prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors to maintain an efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.

Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.

Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures.
