Requirements
Experience on EW or Radar programs, including the development of sensor system modes and advanced signal- and data-processing algorithms from mathematical/analytical derivation through testing and verification of system performance
RF/radar signal processing, optimization, waveform design, electronic warfare, machine learning, adaptive signal processing, AI/ML algorithm development, algorithm development, model & simulation, systems engineering, test engineering, radar modelling, or RF systems prototyping
Experience providing technical briefs to subcontractors, senior level executives, and customers
Proficiency in one or more scientific or mathematical programming languages, such as MATLAB, Python, and C/C++
Experienced researcher and team member who is excited to work with mission partners to leverage cutting-edge technology and research for immediate impact

Responsibilities
We are looking for a Principal Engineer to develop state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques for sense making and sensor decision making, from signal detection and classification, to electronic support measures, attack, and protection, to cognitive EW and more.
You will lead projects and proposal efforts, lead and advise fellow researchers, scientists, and engineers on multi-disciplinary teams spread across multiple STR campuses.
You will seek to understand customer missions, and in turn, construct proposal and program plans to meet their current and future needs.
Engage directly with customers to understand their unique requirements and national security needs, and shape our solutions to meet their objectives
Lead projects and multi-disciplinary teams
Design and apply cutting-edge signal processing and machine learning techniques to solve complex radar and RF sensing and counter-sensing challenges
