Responsibilities
Oversee the operation of department, by setting and communicating direction, objectives, planning, organizing, and effectively coordinating with other departments (claims, finance, etc.).
Direct the services of the department within the accepted principles and practices of the insurance community and in accordance with HUB Broker Standards while also continually seeking process improvements with input from direct reports.
Responsible for employment practices of recommending the hiring or dismissal of personnel within the department new employee onboarding of direct reports, and identify, recruit and coach top talent to create a talent pipeline for key roles.
Strategic oversight and connection to NEE overall goals and initiatives; communicates this strategy clearly to the department personnel and measures success.
Assign accounts and work assignments to department personnel including the handling and servicing of new accounts with Producers.
Provide technical knowledge and expertise to department personnel regarding risk identification and appropriate coverage.
