Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

0–2 years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience (healthcare/dental industry preferred).

Comfortable working with and managing large volumes of data with accuracy and efficiency.

Knowledge of GAAP and basic financial principles.

Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct) is a plus.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas).

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has also experience with complex journal entries such as intercompany, accruals, amortization schedules and working with fixed assets. Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.

Assist in processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments in coordination with AP.

Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring across multiple dental practice locations.
