Resource Specialist, Health & Behavioral Health

Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Corrections or related field preferred or equivalent combination of training and/or experience required.

Microsoft spreadsheet knowledge

Strong communication skills

The Resource Specialist is a great asset to the Offender Success team; the expectation is they will work closely with the Community Coordinator, local partners and community providers as needed.

Ensure the full integration of Offender Success services within the larger Kinexus Team to reduce duplication of effort, streamline services, and maximize all resources in support of the right service at the right time.

Model the way for a common purpose and shared consciousness under our Team of Teams approach.

Continuous improvement / Manage and monitor contracts

Our team, providing services in all of Region 8, is committed to reducing crime and recidivism, which requires working with partners on the many layers of support, education, and services necessary to guide at-risk or previously incarcerated individuals. We focus on transitioning these individuals back into the workforce so that they can seamlessly return to independent living.
