Requirements

8+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, commercial product strategy or commercial insurance product management, directly leading a team of high-functioning contributors

Experience working within the ACA marketplace (serving multiple markets), including individual or small group

Demonstrated experience leading programs

Familiarity with insurance product lifecycle management, including design and execution readiness

Exposure to regulatory filings (e.g., PBT, SBC, SOB) and compliance processes

Experience developing or scaling new health insurance products or market expansions

Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Insurance Product, Employer Subsidized and Emerging Solutions will support the strategy development and scaling of employer subsidized (ICHRA) and adjacent growth-oriented health insurance solutions across Oscar's broader product portfolio.

This role is responsible for translating enterprise, subsidiary, and market level strategies into actionable product concepts, ensuring alignment with core ACA offerings, while driving end-to-end product lifecycle execution through launch and performance optimization.

You will report into the Vice President, Insurance Product Innovation and Development.

Product Strategy and Growth

Own the development and evolution of the employer-subsidized product strategy, including target segments, value proposition, and market expansion roadmap in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, including Growth, Sales, and ICHRA leadership

Lead and contribute to business cases associated with new products, including return on investment assessments to propel growth in membership and profitability, alongside a positive brand experience
