Requirements

Evaluate emerging technologies, scientific methodologies, and best practices to improve CBRN detection, protection, and response capabilities.

Ensure compliance with applicable scientific, regulatory, and organizational standards while supporting mission-critical homeland security objectives.

Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.

3-10 years of experience in a scientific, engineering, medical, veterinary, or public health field.

Experience in the HS pillars of prevention and protection.

Operational scientific and technical analysis.

Responsibilities

Support the development, assessment, and implementation of prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery strategies within the homeland security mission space.

Analyze complex technical and operational issues, identify root causes, and develop recommendations to support decision-making and program objectives.

Coordinate with government stakeholders, researchers, engineers, public health professionals, and subject matter experts to support multidisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Develop technical reports, analytical products, briefings, and recommendations based on research findings and operational assessments.
