Requirements

Four (4) years of progressively responsible Accounts Payable experience.

Knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices.

Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.

Knowledge of financial transaction flows, including system interfaces.

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $48.02 to $62.43

Responsibilities

Provides overall direction and guidance to the staff processing accounts payable and vendor services including maintaining records of amounts owed, verifying invoices, computing discounts, coding expenses, preparing vouchers, and issuing checks for payment.

The Accounts Payable Supervisor prepares financial reports for various agencies, and creates new accounting forms as needed.

Prepares accounts payable register and other related reports.

Provides guidance, coordination and training to staff on accounts payable and purchasing procedures.

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

Implements reporting procedures and internal controls for the purpose of maintaining accurate records.
