Requirements
5+ years of experience as a field mechanic working on construction equipment.
5+ years as an auto mechanic working on trucks
Must own and maintain a complete set of professional mechanic tools and a reliable service rig (additional compensation provided).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
Preferred:
Formal training, certification, or technical schooling in diesel or heavy equipment mechanics.
Responsibilities
The Field Mechanic – Equipment & Fleet is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining construction equipment in the field to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role directly supports Loenbro’s mission by keeping critical equipment running, minimizing downtime, and supporting projects across multiple job sites.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as skid steers and scissor lifts.
Perform vehicle maintenance items such as oil changes, fluid refills and engine diagnostics on company vehicles.
