Responsibilities

Leads the planning, execution, governance, and financial control of site-level CAPEX projects for CPS Puerto Rico, excluding strategic capital projects.

The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within approved scope and budget, and in compliance with Company standards, regulatory requirements, environmental expectations, and internal controls.

The Engineer Manager coordinates internal stakeholders, contractors, service providers, and technical resources to support reliable project execution, commissioning, documentation, asset capitalization, and monthly/quarterly/year-end CAPEX reporting.

Lead the execution of CPS Puerto Rico non-strategic CAPEX projects from concept refinement through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, closeout, and asset capitalization.

Support the site CAPEX justification and annual capital planning process by consolidating needs, organizing reviews, preparing estimates, and aligning priorities with management direction and approved business plans.

Manage annual CAPEX spend against the business plan, including forecasting, carryover reporting, monthly/quarterly/year-end financial updates, risk identification, and mitigation actions.
