Maintains personal and asset security by conducting complete and through hazard surveillance rounds with strong emphasis on protecting patients, staff and hospital property.

Responds quickly, calmly, and effectively in emergency situations, including assisting with patient restraints as needed.

Manage emergency situations and ensure execution of disaster plans; notifies appropriate leadership of emergency situations.

Conducts preliminary investigations into thefts, shortages and other complaints involving potential criminal misconduct by questioning individuals involved with specific incidents.

Prepares and submits written reports, investigations, and daily events in a complete, timely and accurate manner.

Logs all responses and incidents.
