Participate in hatchery quality control, animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety programs; comply with low transfer crack assessment standards.

Ensure correct egg placement in hatchers, monitor equipment for proper operation, and perform setup and cleanup of processes, halls, and setters.

Maintain detailed records for egg placement, vaccine tracking, and transfer processes; monitor and report equipment performance issues.

Fill in for absent team members, guide and train staff, assist with safety monitoring, and lead in addressing questions or concerns.

Participate in egg set, chick processing, cross-training, and training guide development; work varied shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Perform daily setup, dismantling, and sanitization of equipment to maintain operational readiness and cleanliness.
