Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation quality management systems to define areas of responsibility, operational policies and procedures, record keeping requirements, training requirements, process and product qualification, validation and monitoring.
Ensure that policies and processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained to support manufacturing and ensure customer satisfaction and expectations, and the attainment of product requirements.
Oversee technical problems and procedures of departments and recommend solutions to problems or changes in procedures in order to enhance overall quality of processes and systems.
Lead continual improvement efforts while maintaining records for corrective and preventive action as it relates to manufacturing processes and customer complaint processes.
Lead the vision, strategy and implementation for training programs for business unit.
Design product audit programs so they effectively monitor, evaluate and report on product quality.
