Previous field experience working in emergency psychiatry-related clinical activities preferred.

$30.90- $38.42

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This is a key position within the Boston Emergency Services Team (BEST) Program, responsible for providing telephone screening and intake functions.

Provide telephone triage for individuals experiencing psychiatric crisis; assists with stabilization, crisis intervention, and refers to the appropriate sources.

As a member of the BEST Program, performs the telephone screening of psychiatric patients.  This involves:

Makes appropriate and accurate telephone screening of patients experiencing psychiatric crisis.

Provides resource information based on the patient’s needs, and accurately transfers case information to other providers.

Under the direction of the Clinical Director of BEST, identifies appropriate inpatient settings for patients requiring admission to inpatient facilities.
