Requirements
Minimum 7 years progressively advancing experience. Past experience in a global organization required.
3+ years of management experience.
Experience with multiple levels of consolidation and intercompany transactions including a strong understanding of foreign currency revaluation and cumulative translation adjustment requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Netsuite experience is a plus.
Sound knowledge of US GAAP; knowledge of European accounting rules is a plus.

Responsibilities
Lead and review the global monthly close and consolidation process including preparation and/or review of journal entries, reconciliations and month end reporting.
Assist with the development and implementation of accounting best practices. Lead the initiation to improve the internal control environment and financial quality.
Develop and mentor an accounting team of two, based in Europe, as well as assist in managing the General Ledger Business Process Outsourcing team based in India.
Collaborate with business partners to improve the efficiency of existing processes and accuracy of financial information at the product level.
Assist in managing relationships with local advisory teams on compliance audits and topics (tax, audit, other reporting).
