Responsibilities
As a Lead Mental Health Therapist at Amae you will play an integral role in our collective mission to become the center of excellence for SMI care.
In alignment with Amae’s holistic, wrap-around care model, this role supports therapist team members in a supervisory capacity and manages a panel of complex members through individual and group therapy, while also providing psychoeducation and support to patients’ families. Working within a collaborative and shared decision making model, you will have the opportunity to partner with clinical staff, peer specialists, primary care providers and community partners.
A patient advocate, you will help members navigate the health and social services systems in San Mateo, connecting patients to resources and the community.
Rooted in trust and rapport, you will initiate, establish and maintain relationships not only with patients, but also with families, as you care for members of Amae Health.
Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients
Supervise and mentor clinical teams including pre-licensed therapists, licensed therapists, and dietitians with clinical care delivery, documentation and patient related issues
