Operator must understand the overall barge unloading process sufficiently to perform duties as directed by the Unloader operator.

Operator must understand the operation of the tractor hoist system and winch systems necessary to raise and lower ladders for access to and egress from hopper barges.

Operator must possess the ability to recognize and identify the various grains and grain by-products.

If during the course of unloading a barge the tractor operator encounters out of condition grain, wet floors, mixed grain or any other condition not consistent with normal grain conditions it must be communicated immediately to the Unloader operator.

Operators must complete daily operations reports for each skid steer tractor used.

Operator must take an active role in recognizing excessive emissions from the barge Unloader or ship loading spouts and notifying the Unloader operator.
