Family Practice Physician Assistant (PA)

Two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a related area preferred

Successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or a predecessor/successor agency acceptable to the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners.

Maintains confidentiality of patient, staff, and hospital administration.

Provides care within scope of practice as established by the privileges granted through the Vail Health Medical Staff Office.

Exercises competency in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education/counseling to assure high standards of patient care, patient satisfaction and patient safety.

Displays and promotes professional, courteous, and collaborative interaction with patients/families, providers, staff, other Vail Helalth departments, and leadership in meeting patient care needs and promoting teamwork.
