Responsibilities
This position is in the supervisory chain of the Oregon State Hospital Deputy Superintendent and oversees teams responsible for the management of the hospital’s project portfolio, the design and implementation of strategic initiatives that support the hospital’s ability to achieve its long-range goals.
leads policy design, systems analysis, and evaluation functions supporting enterprise initiatives to improve business operations and patient care delivery.
This position is responsible for developing conceptual frameworks and future-state models for care delivery, and for establishing evaluation systems that measure performance, outcomes, and impact to patient care.
This role is critical to improving the delivery of 24/7 care in a locked facility. Oregon State Hospital employs approximately 3,000 staff and cares for approximately 700 patients.
This role operates at both the conceptual and analytical level, ensuring operational change initiatives are grounded in evidence, aligned with strategic intent, and evaluated against defined performance standards for patient care delivery.
The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership direction and the continuity and coordination of hospital-wide improvement initiatives.
