Requirements
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in private equity and/or investment banking
A high comfort level analyzing and modeling income, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Experience and interest in working with large datasets.
If you also have experience with Business Intelligence packages (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) it is a plus but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
Accordion is seeking a Finance & Strategy Associate to join our growing internal Finance team, with a focus on the company’s strategic growth, both organic and inorganic.
This new hire will report to the VP of Finance and be deeply involved in the strategic planning and operational initiatives of the company.
In addition, this person will work closely with the firm’s Executive Leadership, cross-functionally with other areas of business operations (Business Development, Consulting Ops, HR, Marketing), and with the firm’s consulting practice leaders.
Provide the analysis to inform key strategic decisions about growth, including potential business line expansions, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.
Analyze current and past trends in financial and operational key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
Support the annual budget process through financial modeling, development of assumptions and coordination with practice leaders and other members of management.
