Responsibilities
The Go Live & Elbow Support position provides operational support during the planning, preparation and activation of a Health Information System (HIS) implementation. This role supports clinical and technical readiness activities, assists with simulation and testing events, assists with training, maintains implementation documentation and helps coordinate logistics for end-user readiness. The individual ensures materials, tracking tools and downtime processes are organized and available to front line staff, contributing to a safe and successful system activation. This role will troubleshoot issues, identify workflow problems, and work with Service Desk and Analysts to resolve them.
Go-Live Readiness & Simulation Support
Provide at the elbow support to end-users during go-live periods and after system stabilization.
Address provider requests for assistance with Epic workflows across various clinical settings.
Assist with execution of technical dress rehearsals (TDRs) and workflow simulations.
Assist with “Day-in-the-Life” (DITL) demonstrations and run-through activities across clinical and operational areas.
