15+ years of electrical hardware design experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, missile, or interceptor systems
Demonstrated experience leading electrical engineering teams through full hardware development lifecycle

Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer VI serves as a senior technical authority responsible for the architecture, design, integration, and qualification of complex electronic hardware systems supporting advanced DoD missile defense and aerospace applications.
The role emphasizes high-reliability system design and technical leadership for controllable solid propulsion technologies such as divert attitude control systems.
The engineer provides technical direction across programs and works closely with systems, mechanical, and propulsion teams to ensure electrical system architectures meet DoD and MDA performance, safety, and mission assurance standards.
Serve as senior electrical engineering lead for hardware development on DoD and MDA programs involving controllable solid propulsion systems
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to electrical engineering teams throughout design, integration, and test phases
Define electrical system architecture and guide development of controller electronics, high-reliability interconnects, and sensor interfaces
