The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will perform laboratory testing using multiple clinical laboratory instruments and laboratory developed tests.

Testing will support clinical and translational research for novel biomarker discovery and implementation of in vitro diagnostics spanning clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and molecular diagnostics.

This position will perform assays on blood, body fluids, and urine as well as assist with all technical aspects of clinical and research studies and experiments, including preparation of study materials and all appropriate documentation.

Performs testing on routine and high-complexity assays according to laboratory Standard Operating Procedures.

Includes routine maintenance and troubleshooting of various newly developed instruments and equipment.

Serves as a resource for medical technologists and laboratory technicians.
