Responsibilities
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll in a high-volume, multi-state environment supporting multiple operating companies within the HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing industry.
This role manages payroll activities across 4 to 5 FEINs, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations and company policies.
Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll in a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Review and validate payroll data, including timekeeping records, overtime, commissions, bonuses, incentive pay, piece-rate, and reimbursements.
Audit payroll reports and identify discrepancies prior to payroll transmission.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies.
