Requirements
We are searching for an Account Executive with a track record of succeeding in previous roles, and with the potential to grow and develop an exciting career with AppDirect. You will partner with Sales Development Representatives and Sales Engineering in your region to identify prospects, build meaningful customer relationships and drive momentum across multiple opportunities by guiding prospective clients on their digital transformation journey. Additionally you will align with the Services and Delivery Teams to ensure successful deployments and expand plans in your assigned base of customers. The ideal candidate will require a good understanding of cloud software and platforms, business acumen, and a consultative sales approach to deliver compelling solutions that help customers achieve their business goals and derive value from the AppDirect platform.
3+ years experience as a Sales Development Representative and/or Account Executive for an enterprise software solution company.
Experience working with any of AppDirect’s priority target verticals including Communication Service Providers, IT Players (VARs, MSPs and Distributors), System Integrators, Software Companies and Financial Services.
A good understanding of Cloud, SaaS, Subscription Billing and Digital Commerce
Strong ability to demonstrate value proposition and return on investment in complex environments to a wide variety of individuals; including technical and/or executive audiences.
Responsibilities
Complete AppDirect’s in-depth onboarding and sales training to become an expert in our messaging, products and services and unique sales approach.
Identify, qualify and progress our end-to-end sales process for new business opportunities, delivering an unparalleled level of service to potential customers.
Be responsible for selling AppDirect’s marketplace technology across your allocated territory and in parallel, look for opportunities to cross-sell AppDirect’s full suite of products & services in partnership with product sales specialists.
Execute a vertical/territory plan that will fuel the ongoing growth of your business enabling you to exceed your monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
Cross-functionally coordinate internal resources needed to close new business
Represent AppDirect in all customer facing engagements, traveling to customers locations as required and engaging at all levels of an organization.
