Compensation & Benefits

What we bring to the table:

Compensation: $175/day ($21.88/hour) and MUST have a Missouri Substitute Certification.

***Please note that as a Long-Term Substitute, you are only paid for the days you work. There are no paid holidays or paid breaks. In addition, you are not paid for any unexpected snow days or school closure days.

Benefits

:  If consecutively employed during a probationary period of 90 days, team members will receive the option to elect our substitute gold benefits package (for employees only), consisting of a $0 deductible in medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities

The Long-Term Substitute (LTS) Teacher is a full-time, temporary regional employee assigned to KIPP St.

Louis schools based on staffing needs (K-12).

LTS teachers provide instructional coverage for extended teacher absences by delivering high-quality, standards-aligned instruction, managing the classroom, monitoring student progress, and performing the regular duties of the absent teacher.
