Fleet Mechanic

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

2+ years of related experience in operating, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment.

Working knowledge of all tools and equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair possible problems with gas and/or diesel engine, electronic and non-electronic; transmissions, manual and automatic as well as electronic; vehicle suspensions; braking systems, air and mechanical as well as ABS systems.

Experience in repairing aerial platforms including boom lifts and scissor lifts is preferred.

Valid drivers license and ability to be on company drivers insurance and drive for the company is required.

Compensation is dependent on skills and prior experience.

Provides routine maintenance on all vehicles and equipment regarding OSHA and DOT regulations.

Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform requires maintenance and service.

Repairs all work orders that are turned in by Mahaney staff.

Assists with vehicle accidents and out of service violations as they occur.
