Responsible for the annual contract renewal process for TJU and JUP faculty.

Responsibilities

The Faculty Contract Specialist oversees and manages all contract arrangements relating to faculty physicians, non-clinical faculty members and, Jefferson Medical Group.

Interfaces with the Office of Faculty Affairs, the Office of the General Counsel, Department Chairs, Deans and Administrators, and the Clinician and Faculty Contracts Manager to ensure the integrity and accuracy of faculty contract arrangements for newly hired and existing faculty of Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) and Jefferson University Physicians (JUP).

The scope of work for this position covers 1700 faculty and over 25 Departments and 10 Colleges.

Responsible for generating and processing contracts for Faculty through the contract management system.

Fundamental knowledge of the JUP Clinical Faculty Compensation Model, Academic Benchmarking Surveys and equity analysis.

Generates, analyzes, and configures reports for the Vice Provost, Department Directors, Clinician and  Faculty Contracts Manager, and for team meetings.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills on a daily basis, including a proactive approach to solving issues as quickly as possible.
