A minimum of 4 years of experience in general accounting and/or financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Fixed Asset & Lease Accounting, the Senior Accountant, Fixed Assets, is responsible for overseeing the accounting, reporting, and control of the organization’s fixed asset portfolio, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
This role manages the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, impairment, transfer, and disposal, while playing a key leadership role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and audit processes.
As a senior member of the accounting team, this position partners cross-functionally with finance, procurement, IT, and operations to ensure appropriate capitalization of expenditures and consistency in asset management practices across the organization.
The Senior Fixed Asset Accountant also reviews and strengthens internal controls, resolves complex accounting issues, and provides guidance to junior team members.
In addition, the role drives process improvements by leveraging automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting efficiency, data integrity, and scalability.
