Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Strong patient assessment skills and patient education skills

Hours:

Mon - Sun, various rotating 7.5 hour shifts, 0700-1500, 1430-2230 (subject to change based on operational requirements)

Salary:

$36.08 to $39.02 per hour

Care of chronic and acute hemodialysis patients.

Involves patient teaching.

Initiation and discontinuation of dialysis, preparation of dialysis, preparation of dialysis machines, accessing venous accesses and central lines, monitoring of dialysis treatments, troubleshooting, acute dialysis in ICU, primary nursing follow-up of chronic patients.
