Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, sustainability, or a related field.

12+ years of experience in EV charging, energy management, or smart grid program execution preferably at the OEM level.

Demonstrated success in piloting and scaling customer-facing utility or energy programs.

Strong knowledge of managed charging, and demand response, with the ability to translate them into practical execution.

Proven ability to manage partner relationships and ensure successful delivery of joint initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $140,000 - $170,000

Initial California base salary range = $154,000 - $187,000

Responsibilities

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Lead the hands-on execution of Scout’s home and smart charging programs, including managed charging, demand response, and Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS).

Pilot new features and programs with utilities, aggregators, and technology providers, ensuring technical integrations and customer experiences are tested and validated before scaling.

Manage day-to-day relationships with utility and energy partners nationwide, serving as the primary contact for program operations, issue resolution, and rollout coordination.

Serve as the subject matter expert on smart charging technologies, grid integration, and energy services.

Represent Scout in industry forums, standards bodies, regulatory discussions, and the Rivian VW Tech joint venture with all topics related to smart charging & energy management. Monitor & influence regulatory developments that impact smart charging & grid services.
