Requirements

At least 4 years of experience with Energy Modeling (e.g.

Trane Trace, IES, EnergyPlus, etc.).

At least 4 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

8+ years of related HVAC design experience.

Experience building HVAC infrastructure including but not limited to chilled water systems, condensing water systems, thermal distribution, hot water, steam and air side systems.

Successfully performed the role of a lead engineer on various projects and acted as the PM covering electrical and plumbing trades, in addition to the mechanical trade.

Responsibilities

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented Mechanical Engineer IV (HVAC) for our Atlanta, Georgia Buildings and Places Group.

This role will consist of providing mechanical design on federal and commercial projects across the country and/or internationally, with a strong focus on timely delivery and Client satisfaction.

Design, including drafting, of mechanical systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including engineering related calculations and development of drawings.

Develop system narratives.

Review / Edit Specifications.

QA/QC of Mechanical designs.
