Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, chemical engineering, or a relevant field
5+ years of experience in static sealing (vehicle tightness), body structures, or a related field
Skilled in using utilizing CATIA for designing and developing detailed parts
Experience working with a full service-supplier
Strong technical skills and expertise in sealing and structural adhesives, coupled with a 1
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $135,000.00

Responsibilities
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Responsible for design and release of the body-in-white (BIW) static sealing and adhesive system for new products, ensuring innovative and optimized solutions for Scout trucks and SUVs
Deliver program milestone requirements on time while meeting cost, weight, quality, and functional targets
Support the development of new specifications, requirements, and quality documents (Boundary diagram, p-diagram, DFMEA, etc.) related to BIW sealing/adhesives
Contribute to the design of production facilities for body and paint systems of the Scout trucks & SUVs
Develop prototypes for virtual and physical verification, including lab and field testing
