Requirements

You will need strong hands-on injection molding processing and troubleshooting abilities.

Knowledge of robotics and auxiliary equipment used with plastic injection molding is a plus.

While reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Industrial Maintenance Technician / ElectroMechanic is responsible for achieving a high level of reliability for plant equipment through performing tasks required to maintain equipment and minimize downtime. This individual will use their training and knowledge to perform equipment/process/system maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, make repairs and identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

Supplies and maintains their own tools.

Documents and performs preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate equipment breakdowns and failures.

Can understand overall equipment operation/function as it applies to maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and reliability of equipment sub-components.

Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal/degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality or productivity.

Reads and understands mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Installs/troubleshoots/repairs AC and DC drives/motors.
