Requirements

Ability to get or have Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and/or Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) through California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) or equivalent program.

Minimum 3 years professional experience in SWPPP inspection and compliance.

Experience developing Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections, as well as rain-event inspections, on a variety of construction sites to identify potential environmental hazards and ensure compliance with SWPPP and other relevant regulations.

Document all inspection findings and communicate them to the Compliance Management Team.

Inspect areas of concern, as identified, and make appropriate recommendations to construction personnel, as required.

Developing and implementing corrective action plans and mitigation measures for any identified environmental issues or hazards.

Coordinate with construction personnel to implement Best Management Practices to address issues impacting compliance.

Develop and update SWPPPs for construction sites.
