Compensation & Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $60,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Responsibilities
We are looking for an Underwriter to join our Executive Risks underwriting team to support the achievement of established renewal and new business goals for financial lines products, including D&O, EPL, Fiduciary and Crime coverage.
The Underwriter will work in conjunction with other team members to execute profitable underwriting strategies and build strong customer relationships in accordance with business unit standards.
The underwriter will also be responsible for negotiations, efficient desk management, relationship building, and maintaining a renewal book as well as upselling and cross-sell new business opportunities.
Underwriting and Risk Analysis:
Examines, identifies, and evaluates management liability exposures for private and nonprofit organizations and makes underwriting decisions on accepting, declining, or modifying risks within assigned underwriting authority level in partnership with the underwriting team.
