Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in an engineering technician capacity or similar
Hands-on experience operating different wind tunnels (e.g. open-circuit, closed-circuit, subsonic, blowdown)
Hands-on experience with common aerodynamic sensors such as pitot tubes, PIV systems, and force balances.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, flexible team environment
Eligible to obtain / maintain a U.S. Security Clearance

Responsibilities
We are looking for a
Wind Tunnel Test Technician
to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the inner workings of the Test Wind Tunnel! This will require the ability to manage large capital equipment.
Support the execution of wind tunnel testing programs, installation of test assets and data acquisition systems.
Maintain and ensure the calibration and readiness of the wind tunnel and associated instrumentation.
Team
The
Development Test Team
designs and executes unique tests for components and subsystems on an accelerated schedule, providing diverse engineering challenges in a dynamic hands-on team.
