Requirements

Must have successfully completed a university-level Degree (bachelor’s or higher) in an engineering discipline in or related to aerospace engineering.

Working in the definition, development, study or maintenance of Aircraft Electronic Warfare Systems.

Applying airspace airworthiness regulations (civil or military) enforced in North America.

Developing or managing the following DND specific airworthiness products: Aircraft Modification Approval Form, Modification DIR Form, Request for Project Estimate (RFPE)

Developing or managing the following DND specific project initiation products: Defence Procurement Strategy Submissions, Statements of work for Foreign Military Sales Cases

Knowledge of airworthiness and certification processes (military or civil aviation)

Compensation & Benefits

Relevant Professional Certification would be considered a strong asset

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

ADGA is currently seeking to connect with professionals within Aerospace/Air Systems Engineering for an anticipated upcoming project.

The Air Systems Technical Specialist will be required to perform the following tasks:

Conducting technical studies as and when requested to produce technical options, validate and assess options, assess technical risks and evaluate designs.

Producing draft specifications of systems, sub-systems, equipment, interfaces or ancillaries.

Tailoring military or commercial standards, specifications or practices for incorporation into system specifications.

Generating and/or evaluating test plans, procedures, reports and provide recommendations.
