Senior Robotics Engineer, Maritime

Experienced and proficient in C++ and/or Python software development

Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware and sensors such as radar, sonar, LIDAR, and cameras

Demonstrated knowledge of at least one of: computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, machine learning

Experience in a senior perception or planning role for the delivery of a robotic system

Experience with autonomous systems in the ground, air, maritime or space domains

Experience with simulation tools and frameworks, such as Gazebo, Unity, or Unreal Engine, for algorithm validation and testing

Senior Robotics Engineers independently drive delivery of vehicle perception and planning capability integrated in to our products.

This includes systems analysis, sensor selection and integration, perception architecture and implementation, motion planning, health management, behavior analysis, simulation and test infrastructure, and interfaces with lower- and higher-level systems.

We expect Senior Robotics Engineers to demonstrate end-to-end outcome ownership at the major subsystem or system level.

Senior Software Engineers contribute as a technical lead to the rapid architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of next generation autonomous platforms through their entire product life-cycle.

Design and implement scalable sub-systems including sensor processing, perception, tracking, motion planning, health management, anomaly detection, simulation, testing fixtures, and vehicle interfaces

Contribute to the design and development of existing software components across Anduril, with the aim of developing components that are re-usable across multiple Anduril product lines

Today, Anduril is executing on billion-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.
