Requirements

10+ years in electronics and test working in relevant fields such as robotics, defense, or aerospace

Solid background in electronics/software working in relevant fields (Robotics, Defense, Avionics)

Have experience with programming/testing a wide range of sensors, actuators, and electrical components

Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems (LabVIEW, Test Stand, etc.)

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, SHELL, or others

Experience with computer hardware communication protocols: USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Test Technician to join our team at our Quonset, RI facility.

In this role you will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics, specifically for our Dive-XL.

You will play a key role in delivering our AUVs to our customers by working hands-on with our engineering team in a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production globally.

This role will be testing complex electromechanical assemblies, testing final products, and leading a skilled team of technicians.

The Lead Test Technician will report to the Production Supervisor and lead/work alongside other test technicians

Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and operations team on pressure vessel assembly and test as part overall AUV production integration
