Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in high voltage battery controls system development, preferably in the automotive or energy storage industry.
Proficiency in control theory, algorithm development, and simulation tools.
Experience in calibration tools and methodologies.
Strong programming skills in languages like C, C++, or Python.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $135,000.00

Responsibilities
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Coordinate and refine control algorithms for state-of-the-art electric vehicle thermal management systems.
Perform calibration of thermal and climate functionality to deliver optimal performance for the customer and vehicle.
Ensure that thermal management systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements for safety, performance, and environmental impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate calibration solutions into the overall vehicle architecture.
Conduct thorough testing, validation, and optimization of control algorithms.
