Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Strong understanding of core programming concepts and data structures

Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, C++, or JavaScript

Responsibilities

Viant is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our Engineering organization for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on experience working on real systems that power Viant’s AI-driven, CTV-focused programmatic advertising platform.

As an Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with experienced software engineers to design, build, test, and improve scalable systems across our DSP, data pipelines, and internal platforms. This role is ideal for students who are eager to learn, curious about large-scale systems, and excited to apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

Contribute to the development of software features and services used at Viant

Assist with designing, implementing, testing, and documenting code under the guidance of senior engineers

Participate in code reviews, team standups, sprint planning, and technical discussions
