Leads Request for Proposal (RFP) process, performs bid evaluations, and negotiates prices and contracts to include cost, schedule, scope, performance guarantees, specifications, and other legal and commercial terms favorable to RES.

Builds strong internal and supplier relationships and assists in formalizing demand management requirements for project needs.

May prepare Subcontracts and ensure that project-specific requirements are captured. Identifies and compares redlines with proposed solutions and escalates to project teams and senior-level procurement individuals for review and resolution.

Advises on medium spend and low/medium risk scopes to project teams and identifies process challenges and improvement opportunities.

Mentors Procurement Associates and works with other Procurement Specialists and Managers to affect the group positively.

Builds relationships with the project teams to understand how equipment and materials perform per our construction means and methods. Understands which equipment and materials bring our program a competitive and strategic advantage.
