2 years Medical Assistant experience.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Familiarity with medical office procedures.

Customer Interaction Knowledge of and ability to utilize practices, tools, and techniques for communicating with a customer.

Medical Equipment Knowledge of the common types of equipment or devices used in the healthcare industry, and the ability to use these in patient care.

The Lead Medical Assistant serves as a resource to other Medical Assistants within their office by mentoring, training and leading day to day operations.

In addition to their Lead duties, they may also perform standard MA functions such as assisting patients and performing various diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, injections and vitals.
