Requirements
2+ years of experience working as business analyst with at least 1 year specifically focused on Data Governance
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management best practices
Excellent requirements analysis and documentation skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain data governance concepts to both technical and business audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Responsibilities
You will help operationalize the data governance program; working with data owners, stewards and custodians to roll out the governance policies and standards.
You will operate and maintain the data catalog used to define data, document its metadata, and collect lineage.
You will partner with data owners to define data quality rules such that we can measure data’s fitness for purpose.
You will lead requirements gathering efforts to implement enterprise-wide data governance initiatives such as a Master Data Management solution, Data Quality dashboards and a Data Marketplace.
Enforce data privacy rules ensuring systems are compliant with regulatory needs (e.g. CCPA)
